Hi crafty friends,
Today has been a busy puppy day. All of our little fur babies have had their first needles and Microchipping. They all have a clean health record and I'm getting ready for their forever homes. On the weekend we all visited Santa and had Santa photos. That was awesome. The look on everyones faces when we kept pulling out gorgeous little Cavies one after another. Priceless! I'm getting excited for my big blog hop with Pootles in the UK. I must admit I'm a little starstruck but i've got an extra special project to share with you. That's on Sunday evening the 4th December. I still have lots more on this week as well as our super duper card class on this Friday. So, If you're in Coffs Harbour, come along and I guarantee you will have a great time.
Till next time,
Stay Crafty

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I've taken Part in the ESAD Holiday Catalogue Favourite Products Blog Hop. It was difficult to decide on one or two faves as there are so many but here goes.
All time favourite and most used by far is the Cookie Cutter Christmas bundle. I have used this everywhere I can think of. My favourite card would be the fold out pop up card on the left. It really has that Wow factor when you open it up.
I've also made little Tic Tac characters with the Cookie Cutter bundle and Shrinky Dink earrings.
They are just too cute!
My second favourite is the Star of Light bundle. Whilst I have mainly used this for Christmas themed cards and projects, I can see many uses for it outside of this area. New Year and Birthdays are just a couple.
I hope you have enjoyed what I've made. I look forward to seeing you again.
Till next time,
Stay Crafty,
XO Tan

Hi Crafty Friends,
Today I've taken part in a new challenge. It's the Just Add Ink colour challenge #338
.
I've made 3 cards all using watercoloring techniques with re-inkers and watercolour cardstock. I particularly love doing this technique as every card is unique.
The first card features the beautiful dragonfly thinlit from the upcoming Occasions catalogue. I have also used stamps from it's bundle stamp set, Dragonfly Dreams.
The second card is a shaker card. I've used stamps from Totally Trees and the Square Layering Framelits to make the window.
The final card i've roughed up a bit and distressed the edges of the watercolour panel. Then I've placed another of the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits over the top.
You may notice the splotchy effect of the watercoloring. This has been achieved by placing rock salt over my watercolour paper straight after adding my colour from the re-inkers. As the ink dries, the rock salt draws it in towards the centre, thus achieving a totally unique result.
I hope you have enjoyed my cards as much as I did making them. Hopefully I will see you all again soon.
Stay Crafty,
XO Tan
Hi Crafty Friends,
Well, I've taken the plunge and I've joined in my first ever blog hop. This week is a colour challenge using the colours Crushed Curry, Whisper White, Basic Gray, and Smoky Slate.
I'm having a blast lately using watercoloring techniques so I thought I would carry that theme over into this colour challenge. I used a card base of Whisper White. Then I added both Basic Gray and Crushed Curry from the Neutrals and Regals Designer Series Paper Stack respectively.
I stamped my focal image from Helping Me Grow in Versamark and embossed with white embossing powder. I have then watercolored the image using Crushed Curry and Basic Gray reinkers and then given extra dimension using the Wink of Stella brush and the Fine Tip Glue Pen.
Finally, my sentiment is from the Labeler Alphabet Stamp set. Both the feature panel and the sentiment are raised up on dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card and I look forward to seeing you next time around.
Until next time,
Stay Crafty,
XO Tan

Hi Crafty Friends,
Oh My Goodness! I've just been checking out all the amazing savings that are coming your way during the Stampin' Up! once a year flash sale. This sale has been happening in USA for years, and now it's our turn. Let me tell you, the savings are massive. You are going to want to start saving because there is such a huge variety of goodies that you will just have to have. In addition to the one week sale, the first and last day are going to have extra special bargains only available on those days. I will keep you informed and remember, you can also use the hostess code on the right to be eligible for extra rewards especially from me.
Also, I have my first blog hop tonight. It's extra special because it's a part of my stampin' team that I never knew I had, haha. Since going to Onstage Live in Brisbane 10 days ago, I have discovered the loveliest group of crafters and been extra creative.
On a non crafty note (surprisingly there is one), My fur babies are walking and every day they become cuter. They are eating now but that means I will need to be bathing them soon, they are incredibly messy at times. We start and end each day with a Cavie cuddle.......everything in between is crafty!
Talk to you later,
Stay crafty,
XO Tan
Hi crafty friends,
Well, this isn't a crafty post but I was searching through some of my photos and came across some cuties that I just had to share.
Hi crafty friends,
Today I've made another card with the totally gorgeous Dragonfly Dreams stamp set. I've been busy playing with this set from Onstage in Brisbane while I was waiting for my order to arrive. I love this set, It's so versatile.
Here is another Gift Box with Card that I made for a video tutorial. I love these colours together. They would also be beautiful for a girls birthday.
Hi crafty friends,
Here's a list of supplies needed to make the Box Card with Drawer.
Card wrap - 3' X 12" (7.5cm X 30.5cm)
- Scor on the long side at 3", 4", 7", 8", 11" (7.5, 10, 17.7, 20.5, 28cm)
After scoring, burnish all scor lines and add Fast Fuse to 1" section
Adhere to 3" scor line to form card wrap
Box - 4 7/8" X 4 7/8" (12.5 X 12.5cm)
- Scor on all four sides at 1" (2.5cm)
Burnish all scor lines. Trim opposite ends and taper cuts to form glue tabs. Use Fast Fuse to adhere to a box shape.
Insert for earrings - 4 3/8 X 2 3/4" (11 X 7cm)
- Scor on each of the long sides at 3/4" (2cm)
Burnish scor lines and place into box. I used a 1/8" circle punch to make holes for earrings.
Decorate box as desired. I used a 2 3/4" square of Very Vanilla to decorate my card.
Enjoy!

Hi again guys,
I've been busy checking out all the amazing swaps I collected from talented fellow crafters at Onstage Live 2016. Check them out!
Good Morning Everybody,
Wow! Where do I start? I have just come home after an amazing time with my bestie up in Brisbane, QLD. We went up for the Stampin' Up! Onstage Live, and it was AH - MA - ZING!!!!
We had 3 great days filled with incredible presenters, fantastic new products, make and takes and of course......freebies. We were also lucky enough to get the brand new Occasions catalogue and the upcoming Sale A Bration catalogue.
We were so luck to meet and have a photo with Stampin' Up! CEO Sara Douglass as well as Co Founder Shelli Gardner. They were truly the loveliest ladies and made you feel as if you were great friends. I have heard a lot about the Stampin' Up! family but now I really feel a part of it. This weekend was like a reunion that I hadn't had before.
If you are not a demonstrator, you are going to want to be. It is filled with awesome new stamps, dies, paper and much more. Sale A Bration is the perfect time to join as you get over $230 worth of product for only $169. But wait... there's more. During Sale A Bration, Stampin' Up! have an extra special offer to new demonstrators. If you are interested in joining please contact me. I can help you with any questions you may have.
During the month of November we are going to be extra busy. My beautiful daughter has qualified for the Australian Physie and Dance Junior Nationals. Soooooo, next weekend we are off to Sydney for her to strut her stuff. I don't have time to be tired so excited it will be. I can be tired later.
Also, the final Made With Love Markets is on the 27th November at Park Beach Plaza, Coffs Harbour.
This is a perfect time to come and say hello and check out all the amazing crafters that will have their wonderful hand made items for sale. Perfect for Christmas.
For those of you who know me, you know that I'm completely infatuated to my fur babies. While I was away I received regular updates on the babies. Here is 2 of them having a snuggle. They are 3 weeks old today and that means I'm going to have to start thinking about looking for forever homes.
Now, I'm off to check out all my swaps and to have a play with my new stamps.
Have a great day and stay crafty,
XO Tan
