Wow! What a week. We started the school holidays and have been busy with garage sales, birthdays and pregnant puppies!!!
My baby girl turned 10 on Thursday and we had an amazing day. As always, I try to make a special card for her and this year I made a pop out fold card. She totally loved it and I was very happy with how it turned out too!
My other baby girl, Coco, has only 2 weeks of her pregnancy left before we welcome her first litter of fur babies into the world. She is really starting to feel the effects of pregnancy now and is starting to have trouble sleeping. I'm literally rotating her on the hour at night so that she (and I) can get some sleep. We are now getting to the pointy end of it and next week we will head off the the vet to check how many puppies she will have and make sure she is in top condition for the birth.

A Card for my Baby Brother!
Hi there crafty friends,
Today I had an amazing day catching up with a friend who I haven't seen for such a long time. We had planned to craft the day away.....however, we did talk more than we crafted. When we finally did get some crafting done, we made a Tri-Fold card with a difference. I'm sure that this particular fold has a name but I have no idea, so I'm going with Tri fold book card!
My baby brother is turning 40 in a week so I wanted to make him something super special. I super sized the Tri-Fold Book Card and thought I would put some photos in of him as a baby through to adult. The finished size of the card is 5.5" by 8". He was a very difficult subject to make a card for as his only interests are gaming but I didn't have any embellishments that would suit the card. In the end I went for a general masculine theme.
What do you think? I'm thinking of making a tutorial for this card. Let me know if this is something that you would like to make.
Until next time,
Stay Crafty,
XO Tan

Step Cards and Tri-Fold Shutter Cards
Hi Crafty Friends,
Well, this week has been a busy week in my crafty space. We held a class last Saturday working on Tri-Fold Shutter cards and a Side Step Card. Everyone made beautiful creations and we all had a great day.....as always!
I ended up spending a few days in bed with poor health, but now I'm back to normal (I do use that term rather loosely) and ready to get buys creating. I pulled out the Sweet Home dies and matching stamp set. Wow! Boy oh boy these are so much fun. Both my daughter and I have been madly creating cute little houses for every occasion possible. They are incredibly addictive.
I have been working on my tutorial videos. Its a learning process and I'm hoping everyone will be patient with me. Hopefully, they will improve over time. Gradually I'm getting used to it though.
Every Friday, I create a new a new video and over the weekend I edit and upload it to youtube.
Tomorrow, I'm having a special crafty day with a friend I haven't seen for quite a while. She too is hopelessly addicted to all things paper craft. Perfect ingredients for an awesome day.
Just a reminder, any order placed with me using the current hostess code PDMPVW9X will give you special bonuses and freebies as my gift to you. If your order is over $250, please place a seperate order so that you are able to take full advantage of the Stampin' Rewards. Its a great time to shop as Stampin' Up! have just added more items to the Clearance List and the Special Offers are in their final week. So grab a bargain while the offer lasts. There are no limits to what you can order, but it is strictly while stocks last.
Till next time,

Album Class and More!
Hi Crafty friends,
Yesterday we had another of the Mini Album classes. As a few crafters were unwell for the day I will be holding a third, and final class. This will be in a couple of weeks time and on a weekday as requested by a couple of people. Places are limited, so please, reserve your place as soon as you can.
As always, we had an amazing time. We are so truly blessed to be able to do what we love and with such an amazing group of ladies. Everyone that came received a copy of tutorial instructions so that they can re-create these albums again at home.
I made another album, this time with a retro, floral theme.
There are many interactive photo mats and pockets. Ive also included a tie closure envelope inside the front cover for additional items that can't be mounted and stored throughout the album, such as negative and memorabilia.
I have ventured into the world of video tutorials. At this stage I'm aiming to release a new video every Monday, with the first to be uploaded tomorrow. This is very new to me and I'm hoping that it will be ok. If you have any suggestions or requests, please, let me know. Im always open to new ideas. The first video will be making a Telescope Card. These are the cutest cards which are surprisingly easy to create. Make sure you look for me on youtube. My channel is Ink Responsibly.
